We are new. We are going to say that plainly on our own about page, because you will find out anyway and because it changes nothing about the work.
What we are not new to is the problem this trade has. A chimney is the one part of a house nobody can see. You cannot check the work. You cannot verify the diagnosis. You are asked to take somebody’s word for a number, about a thing on your roof, that you will never lay eyes on.
That gap is where the bad reputation comes from, and it is the thing we built this company to close.
YOU SEE WHAT WE SEE
You cannot see your own chimney. That is the whole problem with this trade, and it is why people feel talked into things.
Every visit ends with photographs of what we found, walked through with you before anything is quoted. If the pictures show nothing wrong, that is the report you get.

Photos, Not Promises
The fix is not complicated. We photograph everything.
Before we quote anything, you see pictures of your own chimney. The inside of the flue. The crown. The cap. The flashing where it meets the roof. The firebox. Whatever we found, in the state we found it.
Then we walk you through the pictures and explain what each one means in plain words. You are looking at the evidence at the same time we are.
If the photos show a clean flue and a sound crown, that is what we tell you, and the visit ends there.
What We Will Not Do
This part matters more than a list of services.
- We will not quote a repair you have not seen a photograph of
- We will not invent urgency. If it can wait a season, we say so
- We will not take on gas line, valve or pilot work. That belongs to a gas fitter
- We will not take on a structural rebuild that needs an engineer
- We will not tell you a chimney is unsafe without showing you why
Who You Are Dealing With
You are dealing with the technician. Not a call centre, not a rotating crew, and not a dispatcher reading from a script.
When you call, you get a person who has been on the roof and can talk about your specific chimney. When we book a time, that is the time. When something changes, you get told before it becomes your problem.
Small has real disadvantages and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it buys you is that nobody in the middle can shade the truth about your house.
How We Want To Earn The Work
Being new means we have no reviews to show you and no decade of history to point at. We are not going to manufacture either one.
What we can do is be the company that turns up when it said it would, documents everything, explains it honestly, and does not sell you work you do not need. Do that enough times and the reviews take care of themselves.
If you would rather hire a company with hundreds of reviews, that is a completely reasonable choice and we understand it.
