Local Chimney Experts is a chimney and fireplace service business operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. This policy covers localchimneyexperts.net.
We are a small service business. We collect the minimum needed to call you back and do the work. We do not sell anything about you to anybody.

What We Collect
Two things, and that is it.
First, what you type into the contact form: your name, your phone number, your city, and a description of the problem. If you choose to add an email address or a photo, we get that too.
Second, standard analytics about the visit itself: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was on. This is collected by Google Analytics and it is not tied to your name.
We do not ask for and do not want your date of birth, your social security number, or any payment details through this website.
Why We Collect It
The form information exists so a person can call you back and turn up at the right house with the right expectation of the job. That is the only reason.
The analytics exist so we can tell which pages are useful and which are not. Nobody reads them looking for you.
Who Else Sees It
Nobody buys it, because we do not sell it. A short list of services touch the data in order to function.
- Our website host, which stores the site and the form submissions
- Google Analytics, for visit statistics
- The phone and messaging service we use to call and text you back
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, which has never happened
How Long We Keep It
Form submissions are kept while we might reasonably still be dealing with your job, and for a period afterwards in case you call back about the same work.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we delete it.
Text Messages
If we text you, it is about your specific job: confirming a time, telling you we are on the way, or following up after a visit.
Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop. That is a hard stop and it does not need a phone call.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for analytics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Your Choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or use the contact form and say so. We will do it and confirm when it is done.
We do not require a special form or a written request to honour this.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes To This Policy
If we change how any of this works, we update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history to dig through because there has only ever been this one.
